We do a growing number of large format mosaic projects. These involve collecting or crowd sourcing fan avatars from Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or via direct upload and turning into a fun engaging mosaic poster that are used as prizes, sold as part of merch packages, used as CD cover artwork or turned into interactive experiences were fans can find and tag themselves once the poster is created.
This project for BMLG duo Florida Georgia Line involves setting up a pre-order microsite site that allowed fans to submit their avatars for inclusion in the mosaic (visit: http://www.tweematic.com/rootsmosaic or read about it here).
The final result was an attractive fan sourced mosaic poster included as part of their pre-order packages (see below). You can view a large version of the poster here.
