We launched what we think is one of the best Covid-19 related marketing ideas for client Vydia. The concept behind the campaign was to launch an “Around the World at Home” virtual tour in partnership with select venues around the the world. The duo, LION BABE, would go live on each of the venue’s Instagram accounts as part of the tour (hence “around the world”). The campaign microsite (http://tour.lionbate.com) allowed fans to RSVP (based on their location) and were provided with RSVP information on the venue’s Instagram account and the time/date for each event. The site also allowed users to save a calendar reminder to their favorite calendaring program (Google, Yahoo, Apple, or Outlook), as well as to connect with the duo on Spotify to get email updates! Advanced features included locationalization (5 languages), geo-targeting, calendar integration, spotify integration and mobile support. The site also provided information on a virtual meet and greet experience available in a similar fashion.

Assuming fans had access to an event in their country or location, they were able to get RSVP information for the event including time, date, and the Instagram (or Facebook) account for the live event. They were also able and encouraged to follow both LION BABE and the venue (in order to get real-time alerts), save the event to their calendar of choice, and connect with the duo on Spotify.
