One of the augmented reality apps we're currently developing is the CD capture app, where fans can hold the CD or album cover of their favorite bands in front of the camera to be presented with buttons with links. In this "augmented reality", the buttons stay on the CD even as the camera moves. Fans can tap on the buttons to open links such as the artist website, YouTube channel, iTunes store, and more. The buttons are completely customizable. The app will be available for both iPhone and Android. Check out the demo of the alpha version below to see the app in action:
