Spotify applications are a big priority for us this year. Over the holidays we integrated the full Spotify web API into our technology stack which allows us to provide the following features and functionality in our applications:
- Connecting via Spotify: The same way our Meta-Connect applications support Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, they will now support connecting using an Spotify account.
- Following on Spotify: A user can be forced to follow one or more accounts (artists or users) on Spotify. Similar to our Tweematic applications (share to download or reveal), you can now deploy campaigns where users automatically follow your artist as part of a sweepstakes or reveal
- User information collection: We can (with their permission) collect information on the user including their name, email, playlists,
- Adding Playlists and Tracks: Why NAG users to create or follow a playlists when they can click a button to automatically do it using our applications.
- Creating custom Playlists
- Voting: Users are able to vote for their favorite tracks or playlists
- Search: Ability to search (and auto complete) Spotify for specific artists or songs
