When a user connects with the Facebook application (either directly on Facebook or using Facebook Connect) they give that application permission to send them notifications. Our album notification feature leverages this permission to let fans know when new music (such as a single or an album) is available from the artist. We link Facebook notifications directly to our Facebook album page, which can be customized for any album, single, or music label (see examples below). Options include additional sharing features and the ability to include other albums from the same or different artists. Fans can also comment and like the artist from the notification.
