Another great example of Pinterest sweepstakes deployed on our platform is this one for the Neon Trees. The idea is simple: upload your photo and join the user generated fanboard (similar to the contest we launched for Willlow Smith). The application allows you to either upload photos or simply use your webcam. Once done, you can share your creation on Pinterest, follow the band, and enter for a chance to win the grand prize. Application features include:

Instagram is a free photo sharing application (launched in October 2012) that allows users to take photos, apply a filter, and share it on. This photo sharing social network has experience impressive growth (see infographic below), and with its acquisition by Facebook a couple of months ago, the number of fans on Instagram is expect to continue growing!
More importantly, Instagram has also become the most intuitive way for fans to share photos from their mobile devices, and more and more labels are doing promotions that leverage Instagram. Here are some recent project that involve Instagram applications or integrations:
As you can see from the infographic below there are over 40 million Instagram users who have uploaded over 1 Billion photos so far. As a result, we continue to built an increasing number of Instragam. Stay tuned for new and more interesting developments in this area.

We have been surprisingly busy building a growing number of Instagram applications, most hosted on Facebook. I recently talked about our value added approach of merging a number of different application components to create more comprehensive, more value-added campaigns (particularly for smaller artists). Earlier in the week, I posted about an application we built for The Wedding that leveraged Like-gated video, a badge application component and a Instagram feed integration, this application we developed for UMG artist Keith Harkin takes a very similar approach!

This is a little different from most of our Pinterest sweepstakes application. As I mentioned, when it comes to Pinterest, we generally try and infuse promotions with some element of user generated content, but sometimes a simpler approach is sufficient or perhaps may even work better, this is such an example. Hosted on the CMA (Country Music Awards) Facebook page, the Little Big Town was designed to capitalize on the buzz around their new album (Pantoon). This Pinterest sweepstakes applications calls on fan to pick and pin their favorite photo in order to enter the sweepstakes. This particular version also collects their information (name, email, opt-ins). This is actually an optional feature on our platform and isn’t required, but definitely helpful if you are trying to grow your email list.
