We recently developed several "Like" to Unlock Your Xbox Avatar applications on Facebook for Fox Entertainment's blockbuster movie The Wolverine (coming July 26). Building on the success of original Xbox Avatar Giveaway application, we developed a second version of the application for international markets. This international version allowed only residents of the United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan, Mexico and Brazil to unlock region specific codes. This Facebook application uses our unique geolocation approach (that solves many problems not addressed by the current Facebook API) to deliver a globally targeted campaign for Fox Entertainment.

You can check out the different regional version below to appreciate the level of complexity a project like this entails. Metablocks handled the first round of translations, while individual regions made small changed prior to launch. We were also able to cut cost and time by using previously approved design templates.
