Lexicom – What’s Popular on Facebook?
Some people are not familiar with Facebook’s Lexicom, a service from Facebook that counts occurrences of words and phrases on Walls over time. Facebook actually is in the process of beta testing a new version of the service.
The new Lexicon provides a lot more detailed information as well as user demographics. According to AllFacebook.com, Facebook is going to “consider adding additional sources of public and semi-public data on Facebook.” Check out the new Lexicom, if you know what to look for you’ll find some interesting pieces of information.
