Features and Functionality
The Metablocks HTML5 Photo Booth provides clients with the power to let their fans create custom composite photos and express their creativity using our unique and proprietary photo-editing platform. The photo booth comes with all the necessary tools for users to upload and manipulate their photos: resizing, rotation, frames, custom branding, stunning graphic effects, and original high quality stickers. Clients can determine the default background and mask, and allow users to select from a variety of extras to include. Users upload photos from their device or webcam, and are then able to customize, save, and share the final result. The photo booth is available for both desktop and mobile devices, and provides the following core functionality:

• Upload: Adds a photo from a user's desktop, webcam, or mobile photo album
• Stickers: Adds stickers on top of uploaded image (supports a default sticker)
• Effects: Applies a graphic effect to canvas (supports a default effect): see list of available effects
• Brightness: Allows users to adjust brightness and contrast
• Save: Allows users to save and share the photo

Working With Photos
Once a user uploads a photo to the canvas, they can manipulate it using a set of standard controls. These include:

• Move: Moves a photo anywhere on the canvas
• Resize: Resizes a photo
• Rotate: Rotates a photo
• Mirror: Flips photo along horizontal axis
• Delete: Deletes photo and removes it from the canvas

Uploading Photos
The photo booth provides a number of convenient options for users to upload their photos. The photo booth allow users to upload photos from their desktop (PNG, JPG, and GIF files supported), capture photos from their webcam, or upload photos from their mobile device. Users can also optionally import photos from their social media accounts (see upload screen).

Stickers
The photo editor supports any number of stickers that can be added on top of the photo. Stickers are usually provided in PNG format (230x230 pixels), but other sizes can easily be accommodated.  It is also possible to apply a default sticker to a photo after it is uploaded. The sticker gallery allows users to scroll through and select from a list of available stickers to add to the canvas. Have sticker shock or sticker envy? No problem; we have a vast library of available high quality stickers to choose from, and our design staff can create custom stickers for your campaign.

Working With Stickers
Once added to the canvas, stickers can be manipulated like photos. This includes the ability to move, resize, rotate and delete them.

Applying Effects
The photo booth supports the ability to add effects to the uploaded photo. We can also set up the photo booth to automatically apply a default effect. You determine what effects are made available to users. Effects include: Black and White (grayscale), Vintage Look, Red Filter, Green Filter, Blue Filter, Purple Filter, Lomo, Sunrise Effect, Cross Process and Mosaic. Custom filters are also available upon request.

Brightness and Contrast
Users can easily change the brightness and contrast of the the photo using the brightness controls.

Saving the Canvas
Once done, a user simply clicks the "save" button to save and share their creation.

International Support
The Metablocks photo booth has been localized for most Western European languages, including Spanish, French, German, Portugese, and Italian - as well as Japanese, Spanish (Latin American) and Chinese.

Sharing Photos
Once you have saved your photo, the photo editor allows you to share your creation on a number of popular social platforms. These include the social networks Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest, Instagram, and Tumblr, as well as the ability to download your photo or email it to friends.

Working with Text
In additional to photos and stickers, the Metablocks Photo Booth supports both static and movable text objects. These allow users to add text or text blurbs to their creations.

OTHER OPTIONAL FEATURES

Social Media Import Support
The Metablocks Photo Booth can give users the option of importing photos directly from their social media accounts. The flexibility of the photo booth allows clients to direct fans to a social media upload screen for the entry point of their UGC campaign.

The social media import screen is fully customizable and supports both a branded and unbranded user experience. Clients can feature a call to action, provide a graphic background, and include any legal or privacy language they include as part of the campaign.

Collect User Information
The Metablocks Photo Booth supports a host of convenient features in standalone mode that allow clients to collect user information as part of their UGC campaign.

Mobile Support
The Metablocks Photo Booth is optimized for mobile support and has been fully tested on all popular iOS and Android devices.
