Spotlight: Janoskian's Tour Dates "Like-Gated" Application

Last week we launched a hugely successful Tweematic campaign that incorporated a dynamic heatmap showing were fans were tweeting from and helping the Janoskians to decide what cities (worldwide to tour) and trended worldwide twice. To build on this success, we create a Facebook application with a “Like-gate” to finally release the tour dates. The idea was to leverage the traffic and momentum we helped create on Twitter and turn it into “Likes” on Facebook!

This Facebook application requires fans to “Like” the page before accessing events.

Post-Like Screen
After a fan unlocks the events by “Liking” the page, the Facebook application automatically pulls in dates from the same source as the Tweematic heatmap application, eliminating the need to manage events in more than one location. Fans are also encouraged to RSVP for the tour or share the page.l
